Simple Tricks to Get the Most From Your Babies Photo Shoot

One of the most difficult things about shooting any subject is picking what sort of shots you want to take; this is true for both the professional photographer and the amateur. When shooting babies of any age this can be especially difficult as there are just so many options to capture those precious fleeting moments of the early months of life.

The best advice here, is to have a look online and see what other mums and dads have chosen for their little ones. There is nothing wrong with looking around for inspiration, and with dawn of the internet, there is no shortage of places to look. Once you’ve chosen you key shots that are going to be the most important part of the your baby’s album, make sure to let your photographer know, and ideally print off a few examples to bring with you to the shoot so you can be sure to get them right. One caveat though, be sure to let your photographer know ahead of time if they’ll need some props to make those photos happen.

Finally, be sure to schedule your shoot around a time that makes sense for baby to be sure everything runs smoothly and enjoy the creation of the first artifact of the newest member of your loving family.
